January 30th at Haven, we will be bringing some of the best producers in house and euphoria in the game to the dance floor at Haven. We present Alex Kassian and the iconic producers from France, Known Artist. With tunes showcased at the grounds of leading European festivals and beyond, this night will be bringing some high NRG to Byron Bay.Haven positions itself as a one-of-a-kind temporary venue where people can celebrate music and connect with their community before the building is inevitably redeveloped. The entire space is built entirely with salvaged materials; a nod to the space's transient nature. The impermanence of the space becomes part of its power, building urgency and turning each night of unique programming into a rarity.
The venues story is also shaped by the history of the building. An old Woolworths site now being transformed into a venue for culture.
The installation led by Oliver Buckworth, Katsu Yokoyama and Zelimir Harasty takes guests to a street scene in a densely populated city, where culture, sound and life overlap. There’s traces of Kowloon city, 80’s anime, Wong Kar Wai films and Tokyo listening bar culture.
