Join us on Thursday October 10th as we recognize World Homeless Day. Our panel of experts will explore the correlation between homelessness and mental illness.
Prior to the conversation we will view the documentary "Have You Seen Teri?" by Dene Chinn.
Twenty plus years after Teri was last seen by her family, her niece filmmaker Dene Chinn has begun to search for her. In the search, Dene unpacks a fractured family history marked by disconnection, mental illnesses, and secrets mingled with socio-historical insights about black homeless women, yet lit with revelations about treatment, health services, and surprising discoveries about her aunt.
