We blend the elements that we love about haunted houses and escape rooms. It is a one-of-a-kind haunted attraction telling the story of the Pope Lick Monster, one of Louisville's oldest legends! Unlike a traditional haunt each group will get a private experience. You will not be combined with other groups!
This approach allows us to focus on providing a more personalized experience for your group. Instead of trying to deliver the most intense experience to every guest, we tailor the experience to fit each group. Not every group is made the same! This makes Haunted Pope Lick an immersive and interactive experience. Your group will interact with the characters and scenes to bring them to life. Our goal to make you a part of the story, rather than just an observer.

Haunted Pope Lick's team go to great efforts to maintain crowd flow. We've spent years refining our timing and making it a science. You will not run into other groups or be ushered through in a conga line. We strictly manage this detail to maintain the highest level of consistency. To do this, we limit tickets each night and can often sell out.
You will not see FAST PASS options at Haunted Pope Lick. We believe that all guests should be treated like VIPs, not just those that spend more. Our team focuses on making timing a science and we go to great lengths to minimize wait times for every guest. Your time is valuable to us and we want to make the most of it.
MORE THAN JUST A HAUNT. IT'S A HALLOWEEN SEASON EXPERIENCE.
This year we've added MORE entertainment. If you've been to any of our movie nights throughout the year, the experience will be similar but on steroids. We will be showing flicks on a 40 ft movie screen. There is an hourly stage performance from Ches McCartney "America's Goatman". We have fun indoor escape rooms. We have a Halloween/Cryptid Gift Shop. Our cafe serves delicious food and more!
