Join the Waconia Wildcat Cross Country Team for an awesome 5K TRAIL run! YEP, you read that right…TRAIL RUN…meaning we are throwing everyone on our Bayview Elementary Waconia XC Practice course! Our course features the Spooky Woods and Death-defying hills. A gritty 5k that brings runners over the hills and through the woods to the finish. We know many people probably look at our team’s 5K times in the newspaper and maybe some of you compare their times to your last 5K attempt? Well, was your attempt on an actual XC course or was it on the smooth/easy pavement? “Pain is weakness leaving the body”…we challenge the parents, the grandparents, the brothers and sisters of our XC family…we challenge the people of Waconia and neighboring communities…we challenge any student to come and “toe the line” and complete our Haunted Hustle 5K. This is your chance to experience what our kids train for and put themselves through out on the course. #BAM
Prizes for best costume (must start and finish your race in costume) will be awarded for each race. Awards for the run/walk will be given to the top 3 male and top 3 females.
ENTRY FEE:
FREE...we will have a “Donation” Box if you want to help out the team!
RISK/LIABILITY WAIVERS:
We will have a check-in area where ALL runners need to “check in” and sign a waiver to enter our course as a participant!
