Haunted Elixirs: Halloween Cocktail Workshop at The Stoneleigh

Join us at The Stoneleigh to kick off your Halloween fun with our Haunted Elixirs: Halloween Cocktail Workshop, held in on the historic 11th floor on Friday, October 31st from 6 pm to 8 pm. Start the evening with a spellbinding welcome cocktail and a quick story about spirits (the drinking kind) and learn how to make The Black Widow Margarita; The Bloody Heart Martini, and the Smoking Cauldron. All participants receive some great mixology swag to take home. All participants receive some great mixology swag to take home. We want you to come in costume as we will have a special prize to award at the end of the Workshop, judged by our General Manager! If you add on the the Halloween Party from 8:30 pm to 11:30 pm; your ticket will include a special reception in the Library with "bites" to reflect the Halloween season from 8 pm to 8:45 pm.

Info: Guests will receive their signature welcome cocktail, and overview of the spirits as well as what the workshop will cover

Info: Guests will receive instruction on different shaker types, jiggers, strainers, muddler, bar spoon, etc. Guests will see demonstration of shaking versus stirring; muddling, building a cocktail directly in a glass.

Info: Guests learn to prepare the three cocktails, that highlight different skills (shaken sour, stirred spirit forward, and built highball), and learn the history/story of each of the drinks. Guests learn the techniques from demonstration first, and next make on own.

Info: Guests will taste, adjust, and discuss their cocktails and experience. Small palate cleaners will be provided during this portion of the event.

Info: Guests will talk through techniques with Mixologist, ask any questions about their experience, and receive their take-home swag. Best costume winner recognized by our General Manager -- winner will receive a complimentary overnight stay after our renovation, valid from April 2026-April 2027, including overnight valet parking and breakfast for two.

Info: For those Workshop attendees that purchased a specially priced ticket to the Halloween Party, we will hold a reception with festive "bites" of the season and a cash bar in the Library on the 11th floor.
