Colorectal cancer is the fourth most common cancer diagnosed in the United States. Approximately 4 percent of adults will be diagnosed with colorectal cancer at some point during their lifetime. In 2025, it is estimated that there will be over 150,000 new cases of colorectal cancer and an estimated 53,000 people will die of this disease.
Our speaker Verna Sellers, MD, CEO of Nazareth Geriatrics, LLC will focus on the who, what and how of colorectal cancer: who gets it, what can you do to prevent it and how to treat it. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the American Cancer Society.
