A deeply nourishing 75 minute Hatha yoga class held at Respira Studio, North Harrow. Suitable for all levels including beginners. Join us as we work with our breath and postures to clear the energy channels, release stagnation and reestablish a sense of balance within.
We start with breath work, progress to some warming postures, building strength, then finish with soothing, long-held stretches and a relaxing savasana. Classes are strengthening and progressive.
I vary the theme and teachings in each class to keep things interesting. Suitable for all levels including beginners.
Yoga offers a plethora of potent tools for relieving stress and anxiety, improving sleep, happiness, health and focus. Our busy, overstimulated lifestyles deplete and exhaust us, playing havoc on the nervous system with all sorts of repercussions for our mental and physical health.
Join me for as we delve into the many tools that yoga has to offer to help still your busy mind, improve your sleep, find a sense of peace and balance, while reaping the profound healing benefits that a regular yoga practice offers.
We work with stress busting postures (asana), breath practices (pranayama) & mindfulness techniques which are highly effective at soothing the nerves and preventing anxiety from spiraling.
All equipment provided including mats, bolsters, fluffy blankets and organic flaxseed eye pillows.
