Step onto the mat and explore Hatha yoga asanas that allow practitioners to work at varying levels from beginners to intermediate. Bringing an awareness and connection to the body, this class will include dynamic asanas, strength work, relaxing stretches and breath work.A plentiful yoga Nidra, accompanied with Tibetan sound bowls and powerful mantra meditation allows for a restorative rest and relaxation. This class nourishes your physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health.

What to bring:
BYO yoga mat - recommended props to bring: yoga block and strap, blanket, anything else you need to be comfortable in your practice.
Class is suitable for beginners to intermediate.
About Emma:
Emma has been practicing Mantra meditation for 6 years with ASMY North Brisbane and has benefited greatly from being part of the community and developing a regular personal practice. She started by attending the Tuesday night Kirtan program at Stafford and after some time became a volunteer. Emma is excited to be joining the team in 2023 as a yoga asana teacher and offering classes at Sandgate and Stafford. Emma's classes have a calm and relaxing flow with an interest in supporting everyone to embark on or extend their yoga journey.
Off the mat Emma is a nature lover and spends time in the bush and at the beach. Always keen to be near the water, kayaking, swimming or water skiing. Another happy place is the garden tending to her ever-growing edible garden. Emma is a childhood teacher and runs a bush kindy program. She is passionate about giving children opportunities to learn and experience within nature.
