Hassall & Indigo Hue, hailing from Melbourne and Brisbane respectively, made fast friends and even faster fans of each other when they met on a shared bill in late 2022. Since then, they've adopted the sign-off 'love ya guts' for every phone call, which became the inspiration for their joint headliner tour across so-called Australia. See both acts play their raw, cheeky, heart-on-sleeve, Australiana-soaked sets in trio form this July, joined by the one and only Will Conway on the drums, supported by Adelaide's own Ella Ion (solo).** FREE ENTRY **
HASSALL // Hassall is a singer-songwriter & self-confessed rambler from the bottom right corner of regional Victoria. Stirring together addictive countrysoulsex-esque vocal hooks, taboo topics & lyrics relatable in the way you don’t wanna admit, she emerges into a style self-described as ‘Australian Sharehouse Pop’.
INDIGO HUE // Indigo Hue is a queer, Brisbane-based artist who sings groovy sad songs about her life, blending indie-rock and gentle intimate jazz-folk. Her sweet and honest nature is reflected in her poetically playful and melancholic lyrics, and when paired with her gripping hooks and catchy melodies she sweeps audiences off their feet.
ELLA ION // Creating honest art that touches its audience is the drive behind Ella Ion’s music. Hailing from Kaurna Land (adl), South Australia, Ion is an alt-folk singer-songwriter with influences of country and post-rock. Her lyrics are the central point in her performance, where she incorporates themes of deep longing and harsh introspection. With live performances ranging from tender folk sets to heavy post-rock arrangements, Ion promises to capture and move audiences with her unique style.
