Funds raised will go to JDRF Australia who are the leading supporter of T1D research here in Australia and around the world. Eight Australians will be diagnosed with type 1 diabetes every day. A type 1 diabetes diagnosis means a lifetime of insulin injections or infusions to stay alive, plus regular painful finger pricks and careful blood glucose management.
