Has Brexit had an impact on Women in Scotland?

Brexit has been a key element of our lives in recent years impacting the economy, migration, and trade amongst others, being spoken about consistently within the media. However, how it has directly changed women’s lives has been a less considered topic. As a result, we are proud to present this Brexit conference: ‘Has Brexit had an impact on women in Scotland?’ We will hear from a panel of speakers who have experience and expertise in a range of sectors, to understand the direct impact of Brexit on Scottish women, and how it may impact our futures.

As an organisation that prioritises the opinions of women, we at the Scottish Women’s Convention will provide you with the opportunity to ask questions directly to our speakers during a Q&A section. This will then be followed by a chance to talk about your own lived experiences, and how Brexit has affected you. If you choose to share your experiences with us, the information will be utilised to impact public policy and include women’s voices in the Scottish decision-making process.

Event Details: Registration will open at 9.45am and the event will begin at 10.30am. Light lunch will be provided afterwards.
