About this Event

HARVESTERS IN THE HOLLER

Thanks for joining us for the 4th year!! Once again we hope to grow this into one of the largest IH gatherings in the country. Our host site Oaklawn Farms, is a beautiful event hosting venue in the heart of some of the most scenic country in Tennessee. The farm offers miles of mild off-road trails for everyone to responsibly enjoy, hundreds of large Oak Trees to camp under, ponds to camp beside, fire pits, and a large barn for social gatherings. Within a short drive, you can expect to find nothing short of breathtaking scenery, including overlooks, waterfalls, and a mountainous backdrop.

This Year's Dates - September 20th - 21st 2024

TICKET SELECTION- We have several ticket options. Some can and need to be purchased in conjunction with another. Make sure you read and purchase tickets that apply to you.

FRIDAY - Will be a relaxed day of hanging out. We will have our 3rd annual RC Rock Crawling competition with prizes in the waterfall bed sometime Friday evening, so get that RC car dialed in and ready to go. As always, the trails will be open for you to use at your leisure until 8 pm, but we emphasize that you do so responsibly, meaning that you do your level best to not damage trails by intentionally spinning tires. Concessions will be available for purchase from 3 PM to 8PM. There will be hamburgers, hotdogs, chips, deserts, and soda.

SATURDAY - Will be a busy day. We will kick things off with some social time, with coffee and donuts provided. Morning announcements will follow at 9:30 am. Everyone will then leave for the scavenger hunt at their own pace. We would like to have everyone back at the farm by 2:30 pm. Upon returning, you will claim your tickets from the scavenger hunt to be used for giveaway items. Giveaway winners will be announced throughout the day. Again the trails will be open for use until 8 pm. Dinner on Saturday will be provided (for those who have purchased the appropriate tickets) in the main barn. Your ticket includes dinner for 2 . If you have more in your party we ask that you please purchase an additional meal ticket for each guest you have over the initial 2. Dinner last year was a hit so I think we will do it again!! Southern Fried Dinner. Smoked Chicken, Fried Catfish, Homemade Hush puppies, French Fries , and Coleslaw.

LODGING & ACCOMMODATIONS

With your pass, you have the option to camp onsite in a tent or small camper Friday and Saturday night. We have also added an early entry ticket that is available as an add on if you wish to come in Thursday to unload a trailer, and will also include camping for that night as well. As mentioned on the ticket gate hours on Thursday will be limited so please respect the hours listed . No electric or water/sewer hookup is available. If you have a larger RV and require hookups, there is a KOA very nearby as well. We will be working on a special rate for the event at Comfort Suites and Hampton Inn. We currently have 15 king and 15 double rooms available at the Comfort Suites on 2581 E First St. Crossville, TN. 3855 at a rate of 120 a night, which is about 6 miles from the event venue. Rooms can be booked by calling 931-707-8638 or click on the following link https://www.choicehotels.com/reservations/groups/YJ29X3. We also have 10 king and 10 double rooms at the Hampton inn at 64 Hospitality Dr. Rooms there can be booked by calling 931-707-7170. Rates there are also 120 a night. Just reference HITH when booking the coresponding dates for that rate. Should these Hotels fill, there are plenty of others in the same area. As mentioned, dinner will be provided on the night of the 21st. All other meals and beverages will need to be planned for by attendees. You are welcome to bring your camp stoves and grills and prepare meals on-site, or there is a local Mexican restaurant just down the road. Also, there is a Dollar General a few miles away for any last-minute items, or Walmart in town is about a 15-minute drive.

Our number one mission is to create an environment where everyone feels welcomed and included. We encourage everyone to step out of their comfort zone, meet new people, and forge new relationships within the community. We also want to say that as adults we understand that alcohol will be consumed, and we welcome and want everyone to be able to have a good time, but we ask that everyone does so responsibly. Again, we want to make everyone feel welcome, and this includes families with children. We will have a zero-tolerance policy for anyone that becomes belligerent or reckless due to overconsumption. There is simply too much liability, obviously with safety first, but also with the risk of damage to trucks and the venue. Those found violating this policy will be escorted from the premises and prevented from re-entry.

PETS - Dogs are welcome, but you must keep your dog on a leash at all times. Dogs are also not permited in or within 20 feet of the entry ways of the Barn. We have had several dog fights over the years. We would like to keep this a pet friendy event, but if more issue persist we will ask that pets be left at home.

PARKING- There is plenty of on-site parking available for tow rigs and trailers. Please note that parking is only accessible during designated hours. Also as mentioned in the lodging section we have added an early entry for people who have purchased the appropriate ticket and are wishing to unload on the evening of Thursday between the listed hours.

We want to thank each and every one of you for attending. We are trying to allow this to grow organically, and we depend on feedback from you to help us improve. We are here and listening!
