A celebration of embodied balance, gratitude, and transition
The Autumn Equinox, like Labor Day, honors a turning point—from the expansive, outward energy of summer into the inward, reflective time of fall. This immersion invites dancers to:
• Celebrate the work the body has done—physically, emotionally, spiritually
• Tune into balance—between giving and receiving, doing and being, self and other
• Surrender into the seasonal shift—harvesting the wisdom of movement, and softening into stillness

🌟 Sample Structure:
Day 1: Effort & Expansion — The Harvest Dance
• Opening circle with intention setting around what you are harvesting in your life and body
• Contact Improv: Rooting into connection – ground, weight, presence
• Ecstatic Dance: Full-spectrum expression – wild, free, celebratory
• Journaling prompt or art offering: What have you labored for this year? What fruits have grown?
• Sunset ritual: grounding into the body and earth
Day 2: Integration & Surrender — The Balancing Dance
• Morning meditation or breathwork with equinox imagery (equal light/dark, inhale/exhale)
• Contact Improv: Listening & yielding – softness, support, flow
• Ecstatic Dance: Inner alchemy – intuitive, slower arc, somatic spaciousness

$300 pp payable in full. There are 4 people per cabin. 2 bedrooms (1 queen, one with 2 singles) and a living room pull out full futon, kitchen and large porch.
Facilities have lots of hiking, pool, lake, and community room for dance sessions . Bring your own food with something for a pot luck dinner share on sat and sun evening.
