Welcome to the Harvest Ride! Join us for a fun-filled day of outdoor adventures and fall festivities. Get ready to hop on your bike starting at Chain Reaction Bike Hub in Cedar Rapids and ending at Bloomsbury Farm! Join us for a fun-filled day of outdoor adventures and fall festivities. Get ready to hop on your bike and explore the beautiful countryside on the way out to the farm. There will be stops along the route to help riders experience the beauty of the Eastern Iowa countryside. After the ride, stick around for music, delicious food, and plenty of opportunities to pick your own pumpkins and apples. Don't miss out on this exciting event - grab your helmet and join us for the and explore the beautiful countryside surrounding the farm. Riders can choose to ride one-way or round-trip. If riding only one-way, please make arrangements to be picked up at the farm.

3:00PM : For riders doing the full loop (riding back to CRBH) we recommend they leave by this time. All other riders should make plans to be picked up from Bloomsbury Farm.

We recommend this ride for bikers with experience riding on roads with car traffic. This event is not recommended for children, though families including kids are welcome to join riders at the destination (Bloomsbury Farm, separate admission required for non-riders). Note: Though majority of the route is on paved roads, there is about 2 miles of gravel near the end of this route, near the raw milk dairy! Plan accordingly for your comfort.

About Bloomsbury Farm:

Bloomsbury Farm is a family owned, 6th generation premier agritourism destination located just a short distance West of Cedar Rapids, IA! They hold seasonal festivals throughout the spring, summer & fall months, fall being what they are most well known for.

What to expect: Bloomsbury Farm will be open from 10am - 5:30pm for their annual Iowa Fall Festival on the day of the Harvest Cycle - Sunday, September 28th! Look forward to tons of farm fun attractions, 10-acre corn maze, hayrack rides, fields of sunflowers, marigolds & pumpkins, fall themed photo ops, haunted barn, pumpkin stroll, wine garden & beer garden, Farm Market shopping, & so much more! A private barn area will be reserved for the Harvest Cycle group to come & go as they please. Feel free to enjoy a light spread of snacks including locally sourced charcuterie style items, homemade apple cider donut holes, homemade pumpkin bar bites, lemonade, water & tea. On tap beer, wine & wine slushies, apple cider slushies, specialty drinks & festival food items will be available for purchase. If you have any friends or family that would like to join in on the fun at the farm, they are welcome to purchase online tickets at a discount or pay at the gate.
