On Sunday, October 6, the historic Octagon Barn in SLO will rock to the "Outlaw Country" music of Shawn Clark and His Family Band, the "CA Soulgrass" tunes of Miss Leo and Her Handsome Fellers, and the smooth vocals and guitar work of Man of Many Voices. And...the Central Coast's own father/daughter duo, social justice rabble rousers Ranchers for Peace, are returning to town and bringing their music to Harvest Jam! Outdoors, local artisans will showcase their creations and autumn earth art activities will be available for everyone to enjoy. We will be raffling off some exceptional treasures, too! Fabulous food & drink vendors include: Fuego, Sichuan Kitchen SLO, Sugar Lips, Whalebird Kombucha, and Firestone Walker Brew.
Proceeds from the event support the good work of two local non profit organizations with common aims: The Land Conservancy of SLO County and Outside Now. LCSLO exists to conserve and care for the diverse wild lands, farms, and ranches of the Central Coast, as well as to connect people to the land and each other. The purpose of Outside Now Nature Connection Education is to guide young ones (ages 3-18) toward an enduring relationship with the land. Those who know and love the land will stand to protect and tend it for this moment and for future generations. Join us for this special autumn afternoon community benefit event!
