Shop from a makers and growers market of over 25+ local vendors from the Asheville Herb Festival organized by Red Moon Herbs and Sister of Mother Earth, selling everything you need for fall planting as well as handmade goods and artisanal crafts. Live music from Logan Hensley & the Cosmic Cowboy, local food from Cecilia's Kitchen food truck, Ascend Coffee, and Bluebird Bubble Tea, and ag fun and education for the whole family!Learn about agriculture, conservation, and sustainability with displays from Soil & Water Conservation, WNC Nature Center, the Buncombe County Extension, and the NC Department of Agriculture. Shop our market vendors' 'pumpkin patches' for your fall decor and carving pumpkins, try and buy local apple varieties, shop mums and other fall crops from local FFA clubs, and bring the kids to touch-a-truck with the Asheville FD (11AM to 1PM) and enjoy face painting, free games, and chalk art.
Harvest Festival and Fall Plant Sale will be hosted at the WNC Farmers Market at 570 Brevard Rd in Asheville on October 4th from 9AM to 5PM under Truck Sheds 4 & 5. Follow event signage on arrival. This event is FREE TO ATTEND and parking is provided.
