Step back in time and learn about life on a historic farm at this free family-friendly event! Chat with farmers at their produce stands and take a tour of our teaching farm. Enjoy antique farm equipment displays, craft vendors, live music, and more. Partake in beverages from Bond Brothers Beer Company or Carrboro Coffee Roasters and delicious food from Death By Taco while the kiddos enjoy our free inflatable slide area and face painting. Environmental educators will be on hand to teach about songbirds, composting, native plants, clean energy, tree care, and other important sustainability topics. Get crafty at our make-and-take art stations and popup workshops, or simply kick back and relax in one of our many hammocks. Please note, due to the historic nature of our organic farm, parking is not permitted on site. All guests will park .05 miles away at Good Hope Baptist Church located at 6628 Good Hope Church Rd and utilize our complementary shuttles to get to and from the event.More info at www.carync.gov/harvestfest
