FAMU’s Harvest Fest 2025: Reclaiming Our Roots — is a powerful celebration of culture, sustainability, and community, here Tallahassee Florida. Presented by the Lola Hampton & Frank Pinder Center for Agroecology; this free, family-friendly festival honors the legacy of two agricultural trailblazers while uniting farmers, artists, educators, and families for a day filled with food, music, art, and collective joy. Experience the energy of Harvest Fest’s forth annual cultural and community festival that bridges generations through storytelling, creativity, and the shared roots that connect us all.

The Lola Hampton & Frank Pinder Center for Agroecology at Florida A&M University proudly presents the Inaugural Harvest Fest: “Reclaiming Our Roots.”


This community celebration honors the legacy of Dr. Lola Hampton and Mr. Frank Pinder — two trailblazers who built a foundation for sustainable agriculture, food justice, and community well-being in Florida’s Capital City.


Harvest Fest brings together farmers, educators, artists, chefs, and families for an unforgettable day centered around culture, sustainability, and connection to the land.


Come explore the beauty of the FAMU Community Garden, learn from local growers, and enjoy a family-friendly festival filled with food, art, workshops, and live music that celebrates the roots that unite us all.
