Radical Bakers Harvest Camp 2025 is Thursday 11th until Sunday 14th September, at Crabapple Community, Shrewsbury.
Our end-of-summer celebration of the Harvest! 4 days of friendly camping in a lovely spot, a big fire in the evenings, great bands on the Green Dragon Stage along with workshops sharing skills for a more sustainable life. We held our first Harvest Camp in 2019 and we pride ourselves on looking after and including everyone.
Harvest Camp is smaller and wilder than our Summer Gathering but there are still lots of activities and great bands each evening. Harvest Camp workshops focus on self-reliance and resilience. So far we have Darning, Spoon Carving, Emotional Resilience and Mindfulness, Willow Basket Weaving, Needlepoint, Chunky Crochet, Macramé, Lithium Batteries, LED lights, Baking, Yoga, a Storytelling space and Herbalism. More to be announced in the coming months.
We are proud to host the Green Dragon Solar Stage with live entertainment each evening. Our stage uses quality modern equipment, is operated by experienced technicians and is powered from the Sun.

Our Real Ale and Cider bar is the Baker’s Arms. We offer fully catered tickets, providing hearty vege/vegan meals throughout the weekend. Everyone is welcome to cook whatever they like on gas in their camp. The campsite has working composting toilets, fresh drinking water and one hot shower. We have a large central fire and a drying rack by the wood-fired pizza oven if it is wet. The entire event is powered by the Green Dragon Solar Generator and we recycle everything we can. We have lots of space for tents and campervans and a beautiful setting at Berrington Hall.
We have our Camp Market each afternoon, where everyone is welcome to sell their hand-made or second-hand items. We will be baking all the bread for the Baker’s Arms Café on-site and you can get involved in the baking sessions. There is always lots to do along with a line-up of quality bands. Adult weekend tickets from Thursday Midday until Monday 2pm are £75 and Campervans are £5! There are no hidden costs and all the workshops are included.
