About this Event
Led by The Harvard Law School African Law Association and Harvard Kennedy School of Government Africa Caucus, Harvard’s Africa Development Conference (ADC) serves as the premier global platform for critical discussions on Africa’s future. With approximately 500 attendees, including 50+ industry leaders as speakers and panelists, ADC fosters meaningful dialogue that shapes the continent’s trajectory. Heads of state, policymakers, and influential figures will convene to explore forward-thinking strategies and collaborations for Africa’s sustainable development.
The 2025 conference, themed “Africa by 2040: The Fate of African Youth,” will spotlight the pivotal role of Africa’s youth in shaping the continent’s future. Discussions will address key challenges and opportunities across sectors such as governance, education, sports, technology, business, law, health, and culture. With Africa’s young population poised to be a driving force in global affairs, this year’s ADC will explore pathways to harness their potential, ensuring inclusive growth, economic empowerment, and long-term prosperity.
