Please join Hartwood Presbyterian Church for our bicentennial celebration on October 25, 2025 from 9am-3pm! Walk through our past as we display the evolution of our church from the 1760s to 1825 to present day. We are blessed to have local historian John Hennessy, as well as professors from UMW, providing lessons on the historical significance of our church throughout the years.
*More details below.
Period crafters will join us with demonstrations of drum making, soap making, flower arranging, woodworking, bee keeping and needle & fiber arts.
Public service visitors will include Fredericksburg Area Food Bank, Rappahannock Area Community Services, Tri-County Soil and Water, Stafford County Fire & Rescue and Stafford County Sheriff's Office.
And, before you leave, make sure to visit with Alpine Chef! They will be on site preparing our fare with options of soft pretzels, bratwurst hoagies, beef tenderloin, grilled chicken, and Berliner doughnuts.
We have a few other surprises that have not been confirmed yet, so check back often for updates!
