Hartjie van die Moot 3 – A Festival of Community and GratitudePretoria, South Africa – 1 November 2025 – The South African Fire, Smoke & Meat Association (SAFSMA) is proud to host the third annual Hartjie van die Moot festival on Saturday, 1 November 2025, at the Adelaars Sports Grounds in Wonderboom-South from 08:00 to 18:00.
FREE ENTRY, family-friendly festival is dedicated to the Community Response Group (CRG) as a public thank-you for their tireless service to the Moot. With live entertainment, food, and community showcases, the day promises something for everyone.
Highlights include a BBQ Smoking Competition, a Security Dog Show, Mounted Horse Demonstrations, and a Children’s Zone with fun activities like jumping castles, face painting and boeresport. Local business vendors will be on site, alongside a Buy & Braai area and a fully stocked bar. Popular music duo Hoot & Anni are confirmed to perform, with huge additional acts to be announced soon!
