WHAT IS HARTFORD’S GOT TALENT! (HGT!)?
Think of this as a movement, not a single organization, whose mission is to provide a vehicle for people of all ages in Greater Hartford to express themselves through the Arts and promote community harmony. Hartford’s Got Talent! is a 501c3 non-profit arts organization. Our Founding Partners are The Robert & Margaret Patricelli Family Foundation, Joe Young Entertainment, and The Bushnell Center for the Performing Arts.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
The journey of finding Hartford’s talent begins with an HGT! audition. Performers selected from the auditions will compete in a Semi-Final Showcase. The semi-finalists chosen will then go on to compete in the finals. The finalists will advance to Hartford’s Got Talent! LIVE at the Bushnell, to compete and perform in a multi-genre performing arts showcase that celebrates our local talent. The Bushnell will provide professional talent development for the main stage performers/finalists. Filmmakers follow selected performers of youth and adults through their journey and will be showcased as part of the Bushnell stage show, TV, and streaming platforms. $10,000 in cash prizes will be awarded to the winners!
