About this Event
In January we are celebrating 120 years of Harrogate Library in its Carnegie building. In this illustrated talk Paul Jennings looks at the origins of the modern public library, probably one of the greatest achievements of the Victorian age, through the foundation of the service in Harrogate and the story of the present Library building to the present day.
Book your ticket now, and take part in our birthday celebrations.
There will be time from questions at the end. Tea, coffee and hot chocolate also available for £1.50
