Celebrate the Grape Harvest & Explore Harper Adams
This year, Harper Adams University Open Day and our Open Vineyard Grape Harvest Day will take place on the same date — Saturday, 4th October 2025.
Alongside welcoming prospective students, their families, and visitors exploring the university campus, we’re inviting our local community, alumni, and neighbours to join us in the vineyards to see our vineyards and experience the harvest season.
What to Expect
- See the Harvest in Action:
Walk through the vines, watch grapes being picked, and meet the students and researchers shaping the future of English wine. - Local Producers’ Market:
Taste and buy English wines, artisan cheeses, and other regional produce. Picnics are welcome! - A Beautiful Day Out:
Relax, take photos, and enjoy the atmosphere of a working vineyard in autumn. - A Family-Friendly Celebration:
All ages welcome – it’s the perfect countryside Sunday outing.

- Date & Time: Saturday 4th October 2025, 11:00 – 15:00
- Parking: Free parking is available at the Harper Adams Veterinary School car park.

- From the car park, you’ll be guided to the vineyard by clear signs and friendly student ambassadors.
- Dress Code: Outdoor/farm footwear recommended (boots/wellies if wet; avoid heels).
- Pets: Sorry, no pets (working farm environment).
