Join this community art project celebrating diversity, self-expression, and collective empowerment!
Dive into a world of creativity and connection with Harmony Through Beads: A Vibrant Tapestry of Global Diversity, a transformative community art project led by visionary artist Vivianne Velazquez.
Explore the ancient art of beadwork while fostering mindfulness and unity within our community. Through the collaborative creation of individual patches, participants actively contribute to the grand narrative, creating a living testament to the connection of communities worldwide.
This program is for teens and adults, and 10-12 year-olds with an adult. Although space is limited, we hope to accommodate everyone interested.
Vivianne Velazquez is an Artist, Yoga and Movement Teacher, and Sound Bath Facilitator.
This program is made possible in part by a grant from Urbana Arts and Culture.
