Come join us for an afternoon of music and community at Knox Presbyterian Church!
To celebrate the 10th anniversary of The Wild Cards, and the 30th anniversary of Out of the Cold, The Wild Cards big band, featuring vocalists Dave Arthur and Fiona George, will perform in the Sanctuary of Knox Presbyterian Church. All are welcome for an afternoon of music and to support a worthy cause.
On Saturday evenings during the coldest months of the year, Knox opens its doors and offers dinner to disadvantaged individuals in Ottawa. Each Saturday from November through April, 80 to 150 people are served a hot, healthy meal in a warm and friendly atmosphere. Since the Out Of The Cold program began in 1995, Knox volunteers have served well over 150,000 meals. This from an organization that receives no government funding.
When The Wild Cards formed in 2015, they wanted to support one local charity and their choice was Out Of The Cold. Comprised of 17 musicians and 2 singers, The Wild Cards invite you to make a positive impact while enjoying magical moments from a bygone era!
