He has performed with Dizzy Gillespie Sonny Rollins Sun Ra Art Blakey Freddie Hubbard McCoy Tyner Stan Getz and is a long-time member of NEA Jazz Master Randy Weston's African Rhythms.
Starting professionally at age 12 with Latin jazz legends by 16 he was touring with Sun Ra establishing a reputation as an emerging and formidable star bassist.
