The internationally recognized fashion production company Harlem Fashion Week presents an opportunity for young people to receive training and development at HFW Kids Fashion Academy. Since the inception of Harlem Fashion Week we believe in “Fashion with a Message”, as a result we have provided outreach to the community. HFW has donated proceeds from events to: the Senegalese American Bilingual School and the Uptown Dance Academy in Harlem. HFW has also provided food and supplies for doctors and nurses at Harlem Hospital during the Covid-19 pandemic amongst other philanthropic efforts. In 2022 Harlem Fashion Week established its HFW Learning Center; a non-profit organization that seeks to educate the next generation of fashion industry professionals. HFW provides fashion business workshops, fashion tours throughout NYC and bi-annual Fashion Business Symposiums. In addition Harlem Fashion Week has launched the HFW Fashion Academy for boys and girls ages 6-16.
