About this Event

This workshop is a one day course highlighting the most important aspects of labor and childbirth. Hospitals provide courses as well; however, these tend to last several sessions with a focus on the medical aspects. This workshop is different. The certified childbirth educator has pinpointed the most important aspects of education, exercises for prenatal care and comfort, positions and advocacy during labor, and other soothing techniques. Each section of the workshop provides hands on practice and instruction for the partner on how to perform techniques on the laboring mother.

The second session highlights breastfeeding, newborn care, and mental health postpartum.

This workshop is informational, hands on, practical, and research based for any mommy whether a medicated or unmedicated desire for labor and delivery.
