This show features some of the brightest young talent the northern Virginia area has to offer! Below are this months three bands. Set times and show order will be determined as we get closer to the event.

Kevin Bull: Kevin Bull, Jr. is an 18-year-old bass player from Northern Virginia. He hasalways had an ear for the low-end, growing up on R&B and Soul music. Kevin’searly influences include great artists like Stevie Wonder, Mary Mary, and Prince.Starting on the upright bass when he was 12-years-old playing in orchestras, hedeveloped a love for the intricate rhythms of Bach, Vivaldi, and Tchaikovsky.Soon after, Kevin began to take piano and voice lessons, gaining a betterunderstanding of music theory and how to create new melodies. This gave himthe necessary tools to make the music he’s always wanted to make. Kevinstarted branching out into new genres like EDM, Pop, and Rock, when hediscovered an Alternative Rock band called Coldplay…a game changer.Listening to all of the Coldplay records and to Guy Berryman’s bass playingmade Kevin want to play that exact sound. He got his first electric bass when hewas 14-years-old and hasn’t looked back. Playing and touring in numerousbands in the area, most recently The Let Go, Tyler Plazio, and Trio 111, hediscovered what the new music industry looks like. Nowadays, one can maketheir own music, distribute, and promote it all without a label. This knowledge hasfueled his new quest to making good music that people will enjoy. Kevin nowenters the ring, full throttle, with his new project “Trying My Best,” featuring hisfirst single, Conformity. This song is his battle cry on crushing stereotypes, social, and economic inequalities. “Trying My Best” is now available on all platforms.
