Pat Wictor is a slide guitarist, singer-songwriter, and educator whose lean, poetic songs honor and expand folk, blues, and gospel traditions. A former member of the acclaimed trio Brother Sun, Wictor has earned critical praise, chart-topping albums, and a reputation for memorable performances blending originals, covers, and improvisation. His 2022 release FLARE reached #1 on the Folk-DJ charts, following his Phil Ochs tribute This Is Absolutely Real. An in-demand collaborator with over 60 recording credits, Wictor tours widely, teaches nationally, and writes the popular column A Few Choice Words.
