Boston Harbor Now holds monthly Harbor Use Public Forums for interested stakeholders to learn about and provide feedback on waterfront developments, public planning initiatives, and other harbor projects along Boston Harbor’s waterfront, on the islands, and around the region.
DATE & TIME: Wednesday, July 24th, 8:30 - 10:00 AM (Rain Date: July 31st)
LOCATION: In-person at 1 5th St, Charlestown, MA 02129 (In the grassy area at the corner of 1st Ave and 5th St in the Charlestown Navy Yard.)

Join us in July to learn about Lot Lab, an outdoor, 24/7 experimentation zone for site-specific contemporary public art created with the Boston community hosted by the Boston Public Art Triennial in collaboration with the National Park Service (NPS).
Emerson Holloway, Partnerships + Engagement Associate at the Boston Public Art Triennial, along with Public Art Ambassadors Louisa and Rebecca, will provide a walking tour of the most recent Lot Lab installations, with opportunities for open discussion with forum attendees throughout.
The event is free and open to the public and will take place in person. Please dress appropriately for the weather. Rain Date: July 31st, 8:30-10am.

Parking:
To park near the Charlestown Navy Yard, the best address to use in your GPS is: Constitution Road, Charlestown, MA 02129. Parking can be found at the Nautica Parking Garage, rates range from $12-$16 and tickets can be validated at the Charlestown Navy Yard Visitor Center and the USS Constitution Museum. The parking lot is a 5-10 minute walk to the Navy Yard.
The T:
Take the Green Line or Orange Line to North Station. Exit the station
and turn right (onto Causeway Street). Walk about one block and a half, and take a left, walking over the Charlestown Bridge. At the end of the bridge, turn right onto Chelsea Street. Walk a block, then turn right at the next intersection onto Warren Street followed immediately by a left onto Constitution Road. Walk down Constitution Road and through Gate 1 into the Charlestown Navy Yard. Walk down 1st Ave to 4th St.
Ferry:
You can pick up the Charlestown Navy Yard Ferry at Long Wharf near the
New England Aquarium and Marriott Long Wharf. Boats run 7 days a week,
pending weather. During rush-hour, the ferry leaves every 15 minutes. During
off-peak hours and weekends, the ferry leaves from Long Wharf on the hour and the half hour. It is about a 10 minute trip on the ferry and it will drop you off at Pier 4 in Charlestown. Walk to the head of the dry dock, and take a left on 1st Ave.
Bus: Take the 93 bus to the "Chelsea St @ Fifth St" stop and turn right at 1st Ave and 5th St.
Bicycles: There are bike racks available near Lot Lab. There is also a Blue Bike terminal a 1 min walk from Lot Lab, near Dry Dock 2.
