Each year, the adorable Northern Michigan town of Harbor Springs hosts The Festival of the Book, featuring a wide range of readings, writing workshops, discussion groups, and presentations. Registration for the various opportunities fills up fast--last year, some workshops filled up within hours of the website posting them, so it's a good idea to subscribe to their newsletter and as soon as registration dates are announced, put an alert on your calendar to sign up for whatever you'd like to attend. https://www.hsfotb.org/
Make your own lodging arrangements--there are plenty of hotels, motels, and airbnbs in the area, and camping at Petoskey State Park is an option, too. Feel free to use the discussion tab to connect with other Outdoor Book Club members to share a room, house, or campsite.
We'll touch base with those attending to try to arrange some group dinners out, campfires, or other get-togethers during the course of the weekend.
