Jill Baker, Ralph McKee and Steve Rich are lead and harmony singers, songwriters and multi-instrumentalists. They wield guitars, bass, lap steel and three lifetimes of listening to the American songbook, blues, British invasion, rock, folk and echoes of other musical cultures. They would be most likely to describe themselves as simply serving the songs. They do so with affection and unexpected innovation.
