Laura McAndrew is a Michigan-based singer-songwriter and member of Gingersmack!, a folk-indie-Americana duo that originated here at North Star Lounge. She’s joined by her friends Captain Karnooba, Brian Williams, Kyler Wilkins, Aviva Match and James Bourland for a mix of sometimes-sweet, sometimes-snarky originals and heartbroken covers. Laura amuses herself and occasionally others by delivering hard truths in soft tones.
