Happy Hips & Calming the Mind - A Yin & Yang Practice with Anna GronerusSaturday, 27 July, 3pm-5:30pm // €35
A 2.5 hour workshop incorporating Somatics, Slow Flow & Yin Yoga, where we will be bringing awareness to the hips. The workshop will begin with meditation and Pranayama and gently introduce Somatic movements, to release tension and bring balance to the hips through slow movements connecting the mind to the body. From there we will transition to the Yang part of the workshop where we will be moving through a Slow Vinyasa Flow Practice - it will still be mindful, but we will also bring a bit of heat into the body, and strengthening and balancing poses will be incorporated into the sequence. For the 3rd part of the workshop we will be moving to the floor for the cool-down Yin part of the practice. Yin focuses on moving slowly so we hold the poses for a longer period of time, connecting deeply into the body. We will finish with a long relaxation to calm the body and the mind.
