Have you always wanted to be a yoga instructor? Perhaps you want to deepen your yoga practice? Maybe it's not to teach yoga but to learn more about yourself and grow while surrounded by a community.If so, this is the opportunity you have been waiting for. This in-person Yoga Alliance accredited program is close to you, right here in Landstuhl, Germany. Class will take place, designated weekends at Sunburst Yoga Studio. The course begins September 17, 2025 and ends on March 22. Graduation will most likely occur last class day. (look in discussion for specific class dates)
Weekends were carefully chosen to avoid holidays. The training consists of 13 weekends (Saturdays 9am-5pm & Sundays 1300-7pm ) and only 1 week night, once a month, so 7 in total. (Wednesdays 6pm-9pm).
Your lead instructor is Randee DeLeo Goodman RN,BSN, E-RYT 500, YACEP. Randee has been practicing yoga since 2001 and has been teaching since 2014. Her love of yoga is apparent, especially when you spend some time in class with her. One of her mantras is everybody, no matter the type of body you are in, can do yoga. She realizes that it is important to gain multiple perspectives while learning, so she has invited other instructors to join the training.

Through this program you will:
Learn a teaching methodology that is simple, accessible, and universal to all yoga styles. (We will dive mainly into Vinyasa and Hatha, However, Restorative,Prenatal, Trauma Conscious Yoga and most likely more)
Gain a firm understanding of anatomy and its practical application to poses. You will learn how to instruct safe movements utilizing cues for muscle engagement and alignment while using trauma sensitive language.
Learn peak pose sequencing, which will solidify your understanding of asana and the ability to structure classes effectively.
Practice and teach fundamental meditation and pranayama techniques.
Gain a clear understanding of yoga history and the real-world application of key philosophical texts (The Yoga Sutra and the Bhagavad Gita)
Participate in specific practices, asana labs, practice teaching, and structured practicums that will deepen your personal practice and elevate your teaching.
There will be lessons in professional development. This will allow for you to start to market yourself, and gain employment upon graduation.
Yes! You will have the courage to teach upon graduation. This course will not only facilitate all the requirements for Yoga Alliance Certification, but you will begin to teach from month one.
