I’m celebrating The Richness Of Life (ROL) and all of its wonders and sorrows with 15 shows across Te Ika-a-Māui (North Island), this Summer! :D
We would love for you to enrich us with your richness. Together through music, whānau, wairua and aroha with kai, korero and community as we go about our way through the ancient lands of Aotearoa.
Starting in December, from Põneke we’ll head up along the West coast and then meander our way back down along the East coast in January, with the hope of sinking into collective gratitude, connection, hope, action, belief, unity, freedom of expression and joy.
Playing a variety of festivals, venues and house gatherings and collaborating with some incredible artists across the Motu: @ash sales @bocasecasoundsystem @alicesea @mattybuxtonemusic @busterCaitcheon @annarowe @Slim Loco and @taitkora and eventually the organic homies of Camp Douche..
mmmm so rich this Nation, its Natural beauty, the whenua and its people, wonders a plenty. Honouring all those who struggle, our own struggles, and our resilience, our ability to choose love and compassion, our togetherness in this life, the peace in between, the yearning, the triumph and joy, ….The sounds of the hills, and our sounds within that.
The coming together of humans and te taiao through the medium of music and song is oh but so rich and sweet. Being together, expressing ourselves, moving the body, connecting and rejoicing in being beings of being and feeling. Huh?
