About the Program:
Gather with family and friends to make new memories at the Skirball. Beloved klezmer rockers Mostly Kosher return to headline this year’s festival with joyful rhythms, and Skirball Storytellers bring the timeless Hanukkah story to life with a theatrical performance featuring music and puppetry.
Between performances, take a spin in our Dreidel Lounge, grab a plate of latkes and jelly doughnuts, strike a pose in a holiday-themed photo booth, light up the night with a handcrafted torch-making activity, view the award-winning short, Blewish, or join a storybook reading and dance lesson inspired by the game of dreidel. At sundown, join your light with ours for a unique candle lighting that celebrates community and hope in advance of the holiday season.
Interested in becoming a Skirball Member? Take advantage of a Hanukkah Festival membership offer—on site only on December 15!

Children attending the Festival must be accompanied by an adult.

About Hanukkah:
Hanukkah commemorates the freedom that the Maccabees fought to preserve nearly 2,000 years ago. It is a winter festival of light that is observed by Jews around the world who gather with family and friends to light a Hanukkah menorah (hanukkiah) for eight nights—bringing more light into the world during the darkest season of the year.
