VVilloughby (Omaha, NE) is named after an episode of The Twilight Zone which romanticizes small town life in the 1880's, all over a dark backdrop. Picture, if you will, a modern era band romanticizing the mid-century scope of the American late 19th century, and in doing so realizing that it's complete fiction. That's only part of what VVilloughby does. With a focus on original music, and drawing inspiration from the Country, Pop, Rock, and Rockabilly music of the middle of the 20th Century as well as the Folk, Folk Rock, Americana, and Alt-Country of the 1980's and 1990's.
