**Hannah Murphy with special guest Anna Calvin live at Eddie's Attic!**Hannah Murphy, originally from Albany, Georgia, takes the Eddie’s stage for the first time since rolling out her debut record “Problem Starter.” Drawing inspiration from her southern roots and legendary folk artists like Joni Mitchell, Leonard Cohen, and Allison Krauss, Hannah Murphy incorporates elements of bluegrass, jazz, and classic folk into her storytelling. A prominent figure in the Atlanta songwriter circuit since she was a teenager & the 48th winner of the Eddie’s Attic Shootout, she has left her mark on other prestigious venues like Northside Tavern, Smiths Olde Bar, & the Bluebird in Nashville. Joining her on stage will be the incredible session players of Capricorn studios in Macon, the same studio she recorded her record in earlier this year. From stories of hardship to perseverance through life and navigating this industry since she was a child, she brings an exceptionally personal and vulnerable atmosphere to her performances.
*Anna Calvin is a 18 year old singer/songwriter born and raised in Marietta, Georgia. She takes inspiration in her own writing from the Indie, Folk and Americana genres. Her music blends child like wonder and creativity with honest heartfelt lyrics to create songs that speak to a wide variety of people. With extensive experience playing viola, ukulele, bass guitar, and acoustic guitar, she seamlessly blends various influences into her performances. An active figure in the local arts scene, Anna thrives on collaboration and draws inspiration from the musicians around her.
