About this Event
Hannah Grace returns to Cardiff for her biggest hometown show to date at The Globe. She will be performing songs from her first album as well as her upcoming second full length record alongside a live string quartet. After selling out two headline tours across the UK over the past year this show is not to be missed.
Never happier than when she’s at the piano, Hannah Grace writes songs to escape into and wants you to escape with her. She uniquely blends the sounds of soul, jazz, folk and pop with a voice that can seemingly sing anything.
Born in South Wales and now living in London, Hannah grew up idolising the queens that are Joni Mitchell, Carole King, Stevie Nicks and Beyonce (obviously). In keeping with these inspirational women, her songs are where she is both at her most vulnerable and defiant as she tries to make sense of her life and the world around her.
Her debut album ‘Remedy’ helped to make her a firm favourite on BBC Radio 2, before her power ballad version of Fatboy Slim’s Praise You brought her worldwide recognition. The track was used for multiple global ad campaigns, including Lloyds Bank and Lancôme (which starred real-life earth angel Julia Roberts). Most recently she released a brand new stunning 5 track EP called ‘Devoted’ with buzzy independent label Frictionless Music leading her to to sell out shows in London and (home town) Cardiff. To date she has gained over 60 million streams.
