"Hamilton ON has a long and storied history when it comes to Country Music. From radio ( 820 AM - CHAM ) to venues ( Flamingo Club, Gladstone Tavern, Corktown Tavern) the city was always a tour stop for the Country stars of yesterday. We are happy to bring our Hank Williams-A Ghost From The Past show BACK to The Casbah Lounge in downtown Hamilton on SEPT 26, showtime is 8 pm and is "pay what you can". Hank did perform in Hamilton ( a short tour of Ontario that also included Ottawa, Peterborough & Toronto ) in 1951 at the height of his popularity. Maybe Hank's spirit will join us that evening if the good Lord is willing and the creeks don't rise. Poster by Steve Good"
