Work with an experienced potter on the pottery wheel to create a large hanging planter with step by step instructions. No experience needed! You will learn how to center 3 pounds of clay, and the basics of throwing pottery on the wheel. After the workshop, your piece will take time to air dry, we add holes for hanging your planter, and then it will be fired in our kiln.Return after 2 weeks to paint your planter in your own style with colorful pottery glazes (no appointment needed, and no additional charge). Then it goes into the kiln again for a final firing, and ready 2 weeks after you painted it. Your piece will be waterproof and safe to use indoors or out. Just add your own hanging cord. Ages 10 and up.

This event will be located at our spacious studio. Beverages are allowed to be brought with you, including alcohol for ages 21+. Please arrive 10 minutes early to get settled.
