In this introductory class, participants will learn how to perform hands-only chest compressions in the event of sudden cardiac arrest. No rescue breaths are performed in this practice. This class is for general education purposes only and is considered a starting point to learning formal CPR; this class does not fulfill the requirement for a CPR certification course. Participants will also have the opportunity to learn how to stop the bleed. A bleeding injury can happen anywhere, and the number one cause of preventable death after injury is bleeding. this class, participants will gain the ability to recognize life-threatening bleeding and act quickly and effectively to control bleeding.
