Be a Harmonist for a day!We will be offering a homeschool day on Friday, May 2nd from 11:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. This program for homeschool families is Hands On History Day. Children and adults will get to try their hand at various aspects of 19th Century Trades and try a variety of springtime activities. Attendees can operate the hand crank bellows in the blacksmith shop, try a hand tool in the cabinet shop, help operate a printing press in the print shop, and so, much more. The historic buildings will be available to tour as well.
This event will allow homeschool families to experience these hands-on activities and explore the village at a special educational rate of $5 per child and per parent or guardian. Attendees will learn about life in the 1830s.
