About this Event
Join Krystina Yeager of at the Salem Armory Visitor Center to hear the stories of local enslaved persons in Essex County based on new research that’s been uncovered.
Through engaging hands-on activities, we will explore parts of Black history and culture that are often overlooked like the clothing they wore, the games they played, and even what they danced. Come feel fabric samples, play period games, and even learn how to do the minuet!
This 45-minute program is free, family-friendly, and open to all ages but geared towards kids 7+.
Registration is strongly encouraged, space is limited.
