Join us for our first event in 2025- 'Hands-on History' at the Rectory, for 'Have a go Archaeology' - activities for children to excavate, identify, process and even take home some of their finds, in our special pop-up archaeology area plus talks by Bob Fish & Andrew Steers at 11am and 2pm, and the opportunity to bring in objects that you have found in your garden to be identified and mapped, so that you can take part in our very own 'Archaeology of the Isle' research project. We will also be offering a special tour of the Rectory to uncover the "Folklore & Superstitions" that were built into the building fabric. Plus, this will be the first opportunity to see our new exhibition 'Archaeology at the Rectory' which reveals all that we discovered in last years excavations here and find out about this season's summer dig! Tickets are just £4 (payable on the day) or £10 for families.
