Enjoy Hands-On learning with Carolyn Saft, UF/IFAS Extension Agents, and the Suwannee County Master Gardener Volunteers as we visit different topics each week.
Lessons include: Tips for Vegetable Gardening, Seed Startinig, Decidous Fruit to Grow in North Florida, All About Herbs, Composting Vermicompostin & Soil Amendments, and Citrus.
Classes will take place at the Suwannee County Extension Office in the back classroom and outside in the Demonstration Greenhouse; dress accordingly in layers and closed-toe shoes and bring apron, gloves and hand trimmers if you have them.
Dates are: Friday January 10, Friday January 17, Friday January 24, Friday January 31, February 7 and Friday February 14.
Times are: 9:00am - 12pm
Registration IS required. $30 fee is for all six classes and includes take-home materials. If you have questions please call Michelle at (386) 362-2771.
